Today is the last day of the Chicago Auto Show, held publicly for the first time this year. At this year's show, Toyota showcased some of its latest technology and performance marvels. Drivers who attended this event got to see the 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross and other models debuting soon. The year 2022 will bring with it a version of the Toyota 86 performance coupe. The 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross
The 2022 Corolla Cross makes its grand debut as the crossover version of the popular Corolla sedan. This new compact crossover features a spacious interior with striking exterior style accents. The Corolla Cross comes available with a front-wheel or all-wheel-drive, with a mild-mannered 169-horsepower engine. This SUV is also designed with high ground clearance for proper outward visibility.
Other Advancements for 2022
The new year brings with it new designs for existing Toyota models. 2022 86 coupe has received rebranding as the Toyota GR 86, similar to the Supra. This new 86 coupe now features a lower center of gravity and a power upgrade. Other advancements for the new year include the Tacoma TRD Pro 3.0 trim, providing a heightened suspension. The 4Runner SUV now features a TRD Sport trim, along with the TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road. The 4Runner TRD Sport comes designed with outdoor performance built-in, complete with a hood scoop and black roof rails.
